Hamsho out works him. He was a solid fighter with a very difficult style to deal with.

Yeah mark me down for Hamsho as well. He seemed like a pretty solid contender, and has a lot of quality wins on his record. He definitely could've picked up a Middleweight belt in many eras where it wouldn't have a Hagler waiting for him at the top.

On the inside I like Barkley's bodywork to make the difference. Hamsho was no Duran who was a master in the Barkley bout against a big Iran who was hooking off the jab and landing bombs on Duran. Hamsho lacked Duran's power and skill .Barkley on points.

The Blade at his best at middleweight would outwork Hamsho behind his jabs and body punches to take a decision.
