Lot 256, my complete set of Ring Record Books 1941/2-86/7, 45 books, opening bid, i.e reserve £125
Lot 257, Pancratia, 1812, boxing history up to that time - expensive at £360 opening bid but very rare
Lot 258, The 3-volume set of Pugilistica, opening bid £80
Lot 259, 3 bound volumes - all 156 issues of Famous Fights (published 1904-06) opening bid £90
Lot 263, Original poster from the Empire Pool, Wembley, 1935, Eddie Phillips-Eddie Wenstob, opening bid £20
Lot 263, Assortment of 11 old books including Fleischer's biographies of Max Baer & Gene Tunney, opening bid £40

Various other bits and pieces. Some of the newspaper cuttings I bought from Reg Gutteridge in the 90s and sorted into files. The auction house sorted it out and have marketed it. They were things I treasured and used but time to move everything on now I'm not involved in boxing. I need the space.

Items left include a full set of Ring Record Books 1941-87, fixed reserve of £60 for the whole set (plus auction fees), 6 bound volumes of Boxing News, 55-57, 61-63,, no reserve, and a bound volume of The Ring (Feb 1950-Jan 1951), no reserve, and an original 1935 poster from Wembley - Eddie Phillips-Ed Wenstob, which has a bid of £10 on it. It's a small part of the auction, so you have to trawl through to find it.
I'm freeing up space in the house, contributing to the Cystic Fibrosis Research Trust at the same time. When this auction is done, anyone is welcome to come and pick up any of my other old boxing books/ bits and pieces that are left. I don't want anything for them but if you want to donate to the CF Trust that would be kind. There's nothing that's particularly valuable or rare. If no one wants them, they'll go to a charity shop or just out.
