Has anyone here ever seen any footage of Jenkins ?

I don’t, but I have a great story.
In 1981 or so, I read in Ring magazine that Lew was sick.
I was a young 20 year old amateur and read about Lew. I was fascinated by his career. I wrote him a letter and wished him well.
His wife sent me back a mass card from Lews funeral. The letter didn’t make it in time.
That was , I thought, the end of that.
About a year ago his grandson looked me up on google, and found out I was with the Chicago Blackhawks. He emailed the front office and they gave him my email. He had gone through Lews old belongings and found the letter I wrote.
He got in touch with me and we chatted via email.
He sent the letter back to me with a picture of Lew and a copy of the Ring magazine In which he was on the cover.
Great guy.

I got a story for you Pug, though it's not about Lew Jenkins. I was at a friends house back around 1993 and noticed he had an autographed photo of Tony Esposito on his wall. I asked him where he got it, and he said he wrote to him and asked for an autographed photo, this was in the late 1970's. Never got anything in the mail for years, then one day in around 1990, which was like 12-13 years later and about 6 years after Espo retired, he gets an autographed photo in the mail. I'm guessing he kept all his fan mail and gradually got around to answering it. The only part I didn't like was the fact that the Blackhawks logo on his jersey was blacked out.

I was honored to get to know Tony.
He was a great guy. Really a terrific individual.
Always asked how my Wife was, always truly interested in everyone’s well being.
Both him and Stan Mikita were a pleasure to be around. They were both brought back as team ambassadors during my tenure and I’d see them all the time.
Not sure why the logo would be blacked out.
I wish I could tell Tony about this but, sadly he left us a few years ago.

( or even broadcast on National radio)?
because he sounded like an "All-Action" Fighter,
the kind the public likes to see.

the answer is yes. at least two.
