Hopkins by a wide UD.
Carters story of horrible injustice doesn’t change the fact that was an average fighter at best.
On average, he lost every 3rd fight. He’s no match for Hopkins

Hopkins figures out Carter more and more as it goes on and wins a lopsided Unanimous decision. Carter wasn't a Championship level fighter, and he certainly wasn't on the level of one of the greatest Champions in Middleweight history.

Hopkins wins 12-3 not a competitive fight.

What "horrible injustice"? He was a criminal.
Life on easy mode, seriously.

He may have been a criminal of some sort, but the fact that he was falsely imprisoned for 17 years on a murder rap he was cleared of?
I think “horrible injustice” is a reasonable description
