How about Patterson vs Dokes?
Sorry, not trying to be a wise guy or something. I have been trying to compare Patterson and Ellis and how they both would do against common opponents. Patterson may have been more talented but Ellis was bigger and had a better chin. I think that they were both great and close in overall ability.
