Aaron Pryor vs. Terry Marsh

Post by scorpio83 »

15 Rounds Super Lightweight Bout

"The Hawk" Aaron Pryor would overwhelm Marsh with a barrage of punches on the body and head to either take a decision or stopping him late had they fought in their prime as Elmer would like to say Pryor is in a different class. What do you guys think and who do you got?

If they fought in 87 when Marsh peaked, it would be the Brit by either a wide decision or late stoppage.

Not sure the point is X fighter at his worst vs X fighter at his best. At their best, Pryor beats Marsh by TKO around round 8-10. Greg Page or Dokes in 1981 would beat Ali too

I was trying to be realistic. Hypothetically, Pryor and Marsh could have fought in 85, when Marsh won the European title and Pryor was IBF Champion. Tough call on that one, Pryor didn't look too good against Hinton that year and Marsh hadn't peaked, so probably either guy could have gotten the decision.

Before 1984, it's all Aaron Pryor. What a fighting machine he was! Too much pressure. Different class!
