Canelo Alvarez (vs Crawford) vs Kelly Pavlik (vs Taylor 2)

Canelo from the Crawford fight vs Pavlik who fought Taylor in the rematch, that was technically contested at SMW (166lbs catchweight).

I know, Canelo is historically a better boxer. But it is admittedly me matching not a peak (though, still decent) version of Canelo vs arguably the best version of Pavlik.

Pavlik showed he can box well behind the jab in that Taylor 2 fight. Also, demonstrated great workrate.

Would be fascinating to see, how 5'8 Canelo deals with a 6'3 guy, with long arms, decent punch and great gas tank.

That version of Alvarez would lose a decision imo. A couplafew years earlier version would stop Pavlik.
