Wardley may as well be dropped out.
Can anyone see him having a fight for the remainder of the year? Or next 12 months?
He doesn't need one after the run he's been on and the punishment he's taken in his last 5 or so fights but he also seems like a workaholic who would get itchy feet if he was just sat around on a beach for 12 months. I think he fights late this year or early next year.

If Sanchez loses next week, have Kabayel's once impressive wins aged kinda badly? Not awfully but could he went from being an obvious number 2 in the division to being 3-5. His inactivity certainly doesn't help but:
Sanchez - IF he loses to Torrez then how good of a win was that really for him to deserve a title shot or is Torrez then top 3?
Makhmudov - Vianello stopped him in similar fashion. Is Vianello top 3?
Zhang - Also lost to Parker who lost to Wardley who lost to Dubois. He's also not fought since and is borderline retired with maybe one cash out fight left in him.
He hasn't added to these wins at all. I think he's been badly guided as he could've made millions since the last of these fights but has instead sat on his interim belt waiting for a shot at the king.

you're only as good as the win at the time.
I view it almost the opposite as that. If someone gets exposed you can look at wins with greater insight and data without a hype train or "what if's". You can absolutely give credit for taking someone on at the time but some wins age gracefully, some do not. Same with losses.
Take a hypothetical situation involving Itauma for example. If Franklin beat him everyone would say how great it was of a win and he's top 10-15 but if Itauma then lost to several regional level guys the win wont look as good for Franklin who just exposed a hype train. Likewise, Itauma beating Franklin is an ok with but nothing spectacular, but what if Franklin beats Wardley then Torrez in his next two fights. We would change our view of the win Itauma had over him to being actually quite impressive.
Wardley has less votes.. so some have voted for DDD but not Wardley.. tut tut
I don't see a world where Wardley should be below his most recent win who hasn't won a fight since.
I think some places have removed Parker for time being, based on his failed test. we didn't vote him out
I was going to start a thread if Parker is going to be suspended or not. It's been I think 6 months since the dirty test and still no response on his suspension.
Is he active or not???

I wouldn't be surprised if he's conveniently inactive for 12, 18 or 24 months but without a word mentioned. Let's be honest though, it was only coke which he consumed in the days prior which is the dumbest anti-doping failure out there for a professional boxer. Hopefully he gets told to sort out his addiction and gets a small penalty.
