This was NYC. Keep that in mind. But no, I don't like the results.

Well at least a Bloomberg endorsed candidate won. I'm far more of a capitalist than a socialist but these terms are a matter of degree. I'd like us to return to pre-Reagan capitalism.

Hopefully, and I am trying to put a positive spin on this, the extremism of these winners will blend in with what we have now giving us something actually sensible like pouring boiling water and ice water = tepid water.

People who are still MAGA have no hope. I'm not talking about conservatives, I'm talking about MAGA. The far Left may be naive, but people can learn and become less naive. One can acknowledge that police brutality exists just as gender confusion exists. The answers are not to defund the police or let kids do whatever they like to their bodies.

I am totally against defunding the police but I also am not in favour of massively funding them to the point that they buy military weapons and equipment which makes them look more like a paramilitary outfit instead of a police force.

Getting rid of prisons is also ridiculous. You need prisons for the worst offenders in society unless you plan to execute them all. If you get rid of the police and jails anarchy will undoubtedly take over as those people who have no moral conscience will take advantage of the situation to prey on other people and do what they want. You will basically end up looking like Haiti with criminal gangs running things.

At present, the Mamdani message will sell in low income black-hispanic areas.

Chevalier is certainly different from the other two progressive candidates that won. She has walked back some of the most extreme stuff, but far from all of it. She will definitely be the star of FOX News, that's for sure. It's noteworthy that Bernie congratulated the other two progressives, but not her.

Lander and Valdez support voting rights for non-citizens in local municipal elections.

I don’t think there’s any running shoes that are particularly good for knee support. If you’re running your knees are gonna take a pounding. It’s better to run on a treadmill or better yet in water.

I don't run anymore. But I figured the best running shoe would support my knees for walks.

Try the New Balance 1080. New Balance has made the shoe for years and I have run in it for a decade or so. Once I have 500 miles running in them I use them for walking shoes and they remain a good cusioned fit. Not too heavy, not too light.
