I didnt get to see it, as I had no money and no car to get 15 miles to town.
Some people at school did however, and they talked about this preliminary bout from what I remember.

yeah, that's why Inoki spent ALL the ring time lying flat on the canvas.
Have you ever tried to jab someone lying down ?

Ali had no business taking the fight in the first place, it is definite he made a lot of bad moves in that time period.

I saw this fight if you call it a fight. Ali disgraced himself and Imo should have lost this fight under fair judgement. But the referee called it a draw.
