Crawford will stop Hearns after being behind on scorecards in a entertaining fight

The Hitman by decision in under 12 and 15 rounds after sticking his long quick left jabs and right hands.

Unless Bud Crawford pressures the great Thomas Hearns, he is having a long ass night. Hearns by unanimous decision.

I'd have to lean toward Hearns by decision as well, and obviously let's not kid ourselves that Tommy could stop Crawford as well. Tommy is not feather fisted.

Crawford could get to him, and stop him, but it'd take a really perfect volley of shots from Crawford to get it done I think.

As with any of these mythical fights involving Tommy Hearns, I’m always curious how the opponent reacts should he land that incredible right hand that just annihilated the likes of James Schuler and Roberto Duran.

Crawford definitely never got hit like that.

No, probably because was always good enough to avoid it.
But, I’m still curious how he’d take a shot like that.
Tommy could really hurt people.
It’s certainly not as if Duran was chinny, he just knocked cold

Ain't nobody out boxing The Hitman, so Bud Crawford has to pressure like the Cincinnati Hawk, Marvelous, Sugar Ray and The Blade did. No pressure. No win.

I don't see Bud beating Hearns at 147.

But he might clip him at any weight above 147.

The more they go up in weight, the worse for Bud Crawford. Especially at 154lbs where Thomas "The Hitman" Hearns was at his very, very best. It would be suicidal for Crawford.
