Nicky Cook (Doing it the right way -- Commonwealth/Euro Feather champ)

Current favourites to watch, some are at the end of their careers though:
Britain:
Scott Harrison - A huge overachiever (IMO) who always comes for a fight. Was really exciting following him on the way up, but at some point during his 'reign' his ego seems to have risen and his boxing ability diminished. Had a war with Polo last time out and even though it fully 'exposed' him, I was impressed with how he performed.
Ricky Hatton - Has always come for a fight and been exciting to watch. Could have been an alphabet champ already (IMO) but he's up against it big style in June when he goes for the no.1 at 140lb. I'd hedge a bet that he's better than his padded record suggests, but his management have been poor in not getting him in at least one 50:50 before Tszyu, and this I think will be his undoing.
Wayne Alexander - Has only had 24 fights yet how many are memorable? Always looking to land that big haymaker since he arrived in Big TV Fight Land with a barrage that sent Paul Samuels out the ring. Not long after that he deserves praise for stepping in with Harry Simon and even had his moments in the early rounds; Simon definitely knew he was in there with a puncher by the time he finally got to Wayne.
Then of course there was the huge Takaloo win not long ago, where a fully fit Alexander produced arguably the knockout of the year. Shame really, because this is a fight that should have happened a few years previous, then perhaps Tak could have made a proper comeback by aiming for a win against another of the touted 154's in the UK. But they on the whole, and like Wayne individually, were craply managed, and none of them fought each other (until it was too late).
Clinton Woods: No one disputes Johnson is the man at 175lb, however Clinton is an honest guy who deserves some sort of reward for taking a career path British fighters used to take, but which the majority are tempted away from these days. A third fight with Johnson would be good, though that would be a bit weird with the Champ walking in last. tut tut these belts.
Nicky Booth: Whatever he was like outside the ring, I always enjoyed those cards he shared with his brother at the Harvey Hadden in Nottingham during the first half of this decade. They used to have some good competitive boxing matches there, used to make Monday more enjoyable.
World:
This one changes quite a lot but as of today, in no order:
Tsyzu - When he gets the guy into his rhythm and lets the punches go it is a sight to behold. Fantastic puncher.
Toney - A gutter mouth who has hands of gold. Makes so many sweet and subtle moves in his technique he can still compete, and even beat, guys much bigger that himself. Could watch this guy go 12 rounds all day.
Hopkins - The reincarnation of the Nonpareil.
Guzman - Murderous punching fighter who chooses to box and show off his highly crafted amateur skills. Extremely dangerous.
Mormeck - He had a huge win against Braithwaite recently. Was highly impressed with his tight defence and bebop style. Those solid and accurate combinations weren't too bad either.

Chris Byrd : Hes one of my favourites out of respect more than his style. The guy goes in there against giants and holds his own, if he boiled down to cruiser he be undisputed IMO.
Magarito 8) : After destroying cintron, and having watched many other fights, I love his all action style and toughness.

Yes Monkee and the water margins used to be on on the same day, great days television that.
Unlike many shows, Monkee is actually is still good viewing years later, as a kid I never realised just how bloody mad it was, very psychedlic and wacked out storylines. It was being shown really late at night on channel 4 a while back.

He could have beaten Jpppy, Joppy did not beat Eastman. Eastman beat Eastman!
He was lazy against Hopkins.
Herol Graham was a world beater - did not win the belt but still a world beater!.
If Joppy and eastman fought 10 time s- I think Howard wins 7 !
= World beater ( but bit lazy).
And Mccraken was World class too !
