Glenn Ghany?

Whatever happened to Glen Ghany he was a golden glove winner from the Bronx (I believe?). I know he had a pretty good amateur career, turned pro, won his first 8 or 9 fights then fell off. He lost his last two fights one in 2000 and then in 2004. I believe he's also a New York City cop. Does anyone know what ever happened to him and why there was such a huge layoff between his two most recent fights?
