Comeback?

How can a guy who's only fought 17 times as a novice be making a comeback?

Audley is a farce!!!!!

I don't mean comeback like that, I just mean he hasn't fought in a year so is making a return fight. Is that a better term? Or should I have just said; "Audley fighting again"?
