Thanks to all for taking part, we'll be back, late May ready for Hatton/Tszyu fight.

I e-mailed you at the time to ask what name you wanted on the belt but never heard no more, send me an e-mail with the details and I will get them off to the belt maker

I don't just send to the ones people enter on the site because most of those are false addresses, 3 out of 10 of the reminders bounce back because of dodgy e-mail addresses being entered

Sorry mate, I thought it was all legit as far as everyone being honest with their details. Anyway, just so you know, the info I gave is the correct info. I sent you an email as well.

Well done J, bit gutted I didn't make the top ten, if I would have done all the predictions I think I might have sneaked in there. Although, I'm keeping consistent with my position.

I'll certainly do the previews if you have don't have any volunteers Kev. Not sure about the results. I know your busy, but I don't know if I could make it as entertaining as you did.

Kev, I don't know what you mean by a revamp (if you mean rules etc or just the site). If it is the latter, boxingpredictions seriously doesn't need it. I think it is A1 as it is - its fast, gives enough info and is really ideal for the job. Thats my honest opinion. The only thing that maybe could alter is that the site goes down fairly often and there was a few occasions in which I was unsure if I had made the predictions.

However, it is craking site for its purpose - cannot think how you can top it as it is.

Kev - brilliant site etc. well done and keep it going. If a slight revamp of the rules is going to happen, could I just throw in a suggestion that there is some sort of concession given to people who don't, or can't do a whole season. Those who could be right up there with the likes of J if they'd completed a full season but didn't, yet as a % are doing better than some above them. I know you could easily counterattack with the line "tough shit" and quite rightly so.

And not that I'm bitter or anything.

Doesn't even concern me.

Not in the slightest.

In fact what are we talking about?

Hi Stu,

Thanks for the offer, basically all I want is a weekly preview of the forthcoming fights and a weekly review of the fights that happened the week before.

The revamp is just to tie in with the new BBN as things have changed on how I enter results etc so we have to change some of the code also going to try and make the site a bit more automated.

We have moved to a much bigger server in the past month for BBN and have moved BPN to the same server and that should clear up the problems with downtime from now on

Not sure about rule changes I'll have a think. Was thinking of some kind of handicapping on the fights also some way to keep it worthwhile for everyone to play not even if they can't win the league, any suggestions.

Cheers Stu, may take you up on that, I could get the next weeks to you on the Thursday before, they normally go up on the Sunday for people to start predicting.

I know a few have said there's no interest if they miss a week or two, also another has said it needs to be better with maybe side bets and a smaller selection of fights, but they have never even entered a prediction!

Any ideas of how we can keep people interested?. A seperate cup competition, maybe in champions league format,
Money prizes? (But this would be a registration fee to play)

One thing that will be done is that you will be able to see all career records for the ones you are predicting on, without having to go elsewhere.

I would like to see a little statistic on how people have predicted the outcome on the fight (just PTS, DQ and TKO for each fighter not rounds) after each deadline. And do we need to choose between tko, ko, rtd, rsf, cant it just be one of them (I dont think that there is a pointdifference between them?).

Can't see that it needs much changing, to be honest Kev. Thoroughly enjoyed my debut season. Previews and reviews would be nice, and I could see a cup competition going down well.

Not so sure about cash prizes. Obviously, they'd be nice to win, but I'm not sure how many people would be interested in paying a fee to enter.

Anyway, cheers for running the league Kevin. Top work.

The last paragraph is would be an improvement to the site, that was the one thing. I did use the fantastic record collection here for the vast majority of fights.

I've stated my opinions on registration fees to you before, for me its all about the fun of the taking part. I didn't even know if there was a prize for this season game - it doesn't bother me at all, infact I would have probably not accepted the prize because it is you that has done the effort.

I do have an idea for a seperate game that wouldn't require a week by week participation and the player could quite easily win it. Indeed, one time the game was played over an 8 week period and the guy who only took part for 3 of those weeks (on purpose) finished runner up.
