Not being funny here, but if the WBU World Championship belt is treated as a joke, what is the international and so on all about

My answer would be, if the WBU world title can be contested by any two boxers who have the money behind them to pay the fee's, then I'm sure the WBU would love to have a tag on Danny Williams still.

I'm pleased that Skelton kept the British and Commonwealth titles over his WBU "World Title".

Skelton Vs Williams will be a good throw back fight, good titles between the best in Britian.

Why is Danny Williams scheduled on boxrec to fight Ralf Packheiser instead of Skelton? Has the big fight fallen through somehow?

Oh no  , they're not STILL trying to put on Williams v Packheiser ?They tried getting it on a year or two back and it kept falling through.

Williams obviously wants a warmup and confidence boost, who can blame him after Decembers embarassment.

I know this shouldn't matter, but he should NOT be the WBU Int. champ because the WBU has a rule about stripping champions who lose non-title fights. So, since he lost to Vitali after winning the title, he would've been stripped.

Maybe that means Vitali is the WBU International Champ.

Seriously, what is the point of the stripping someone who loses a non title match rule? It's not going to bring prestige to the title is it?

I think they ended up giving the title to Ricky Hatton :TU:

Keep in mind, this is the WBU... it doesn't have to make sense.
