This topic is always on the current scene - "Who could have beaten Lewis?", "Vitali would have won", "If a different Tyson turned up..." blah blah blah.

Same thing over and over and it get's boring very quickly.

I don't like it much either, but this thread http://www.boxrec.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=27706 as an animating gif of Corrales winning.

Forget the Ibeabuchi debate. When will Byrd fight Wlad Klitchko, and should the winner fight Smooth Justin Blevins?

Byrd already fought Wlad Klitschko and received a one sided beating, of course with a now near shot Wlad and a similar Byrd the outcome could be a lot different. But in all seriousness who wants Klitschko-Byrd II? If anything Vitali should get a second crack at the Byrdman to settle the score after there unsatisfactory meeting a while back. Anyone for Byrd V Ruiz? Ruiz is doing a retirement u-turn so this fight could happen.

I'd agree with you on preferring Vitali over Wlad, due to Vitali still having something to prove, plus the factor of a unification of sorts and a little clearer picture on who is the #1 HW. Admittedly, that's like choosing what your favourite method of execution would be. But Byrd's got a defence pencilled in for July, and it obviously won't be Vitali, and not sure whether Toney would want him just yet. If King turns Ruiz into the next Galota and lines him up a fight with Byrd straight away, I will eat my own hand off in protest.

Byron Polley looks to be part of the American boxing system, which goes as follows.

A) Become a manager/promoter
B) Find someone out on the street and give him a boxing liscense. Give him a nickname, preferably with the words "behemoth" or "lightening" in it
C) Feed him corpses, cruiserweights with water retention and 19 yr old debutants until his record stands at 20-0
D) Make some good $$$ by feeding him to Rob Calloway to knock out in 1 round in between his WBF intercontinental title match-ups
E) Rob Calloway and his team then make their $$$ by taking Calloway's blown up record to the 'real' 'up-and-coming' 'contenders' who become so by beating up Rob Calloway in a round.
F) These guys then make their $$$ by being signed up by Don King.
G) Don King makes his money by exploiting the boxing fans who pay good $$$ to watch their 'hero,' who has been made in a 'hero' via King and the media, who are trying to make some $$$.
