Apologies if someone has mentioned this fight already but i noticed on Secondsout that JMM gave Victor Polo a one sided beating. Harrison struggled with Polo a weight up yet Marquez looked good. Anything we can gauge from Marquez's performance that we didn't already know?
In the other championship contest of the evening, IBF and WBA featherweight champ Juan Manuel Marquez, 44-2-1 (33) played the role of Asumah Nelson in drubbing out a twelve round unanimous decision against an over matched Victor Polo, 34-4-3 (24).
Once again Polo was not able to bring his best effort to a major fight, though to be fair Marquez was his elegant efficient self over all twelve rounds. Marquez showed his punch in the seventh by dropping Polo and that was as symbolic as it was substantive. The hard luck Polo goes 0-5 in title fights in dropping this nod 119-108, 107-120 and 118-120
Must admit James i thought that when i read the article...still thought that i would mention the fight seen as the main event eclipsed it and about every other fight so far this year :P

Anyone with an ounce of sense would known that already. Harrison is simply not that good, and would stand no chance against any of the elite fighters around him.
