Jimmy Flint fight footage

Hi all

I posted a while back regarding getting some fight footage of Jimmy Flint (a.k.a The Wapping Assassin) in action. He fought out of repton in East London and went pro between the years of 73-81. Some of his fights were definitely televised. Really would love the one of his against Sammy Meck but any footage would be great.

Anyway I will gladly reimburse anyone for their time if they get me some footage or point me in the right direction.

The only one I have seen is his last fight against Steve Sammy Simms where he was knock outed in 4 rounds.

Try Red Dragon who posts on the Brit forum, he can probably track down a few for you.

Quite a few of his fights were shown on the BBC, back in the day before video maybe. The Cowdell one should be out there somewhere.

Scary puncher was Flint.

Yeah Ive read Flint was a scary puncher in the old issues of Boxing news. They say he wasnt the best boxer but the most dangerous featherweight at the time, unpredictable and was a hard hitter.
