What does this win mean for Sports Network.

Not only do we have a legitimate world champion, but we also have a respected fighter who I am sure will be big box office stateside.

Do you think this win will open the doors for other British fighters, much like Hamed / Benn / Eubank did on big undercards of their fights. Also, like it did for Mick Hennessey and Junior Witter as a result of the Eastman vs Hopkins fight.

I mean, could other sports network fighters fight for geniune world title bouts on undercards of Hattons' super fights.

Could we have the likes of Eamonn Magee (at Welter), Wayne Alexander, Skelton/Williams, Maccrinelli/Nelson, Scott Harrison, and others fight geniune big names on the undercard (or even co-main event) of Hatton's future title defences, whether in the US or here.

Could we be heading back to the days of geniunally good PPV's in the mid 90's. Usually, there was one eye catching contest, but then other brits (like Dodson, Bingham and Foster vs Wright; Cantwell vs Jammili / Matlala) would get if you like slightly unmerited geniune big fights.

I really hope this can happen, do you think it will? If yes, who do you think will benefit the most.

Doesn't seem to happen so much these days, the generally quality of a PPV from Sky seems much poorer, relying on one main event to sell it. Case in point, why wasn't Harrison v Brodie the chief support to Hatton last night?
