Would you purchase this card as a PPV

Post by stujones »

We know that Hopkins vs Taylor is live and not on PPV, but there is a cracking card in Germany involving two British fighters - would you prefer it the way it is currently scheduled, i.e. non PPV but only showing the US fights, or would you pay say £14.99 to include the German bill aswell.

We would get in Germany

Magee vs Tszypko (EBU Super Middleweight title)
Abraham vs Eastman (WBA International Middleweight title).
Hakkar vs Sylvester (EBU Middleweight title)
Hausseler vs Sarnavia - good fight (WBA Intercontinental Super Middle title).
Cencig Koc vs TBA

Then in the US it is
Fernando Montiel vs Eric Morel (WBO Super Flyweight title)
Hopkins vs Taylor (Undisputed Middle title)
Larios vs McCullough (WBC Super Bantam Title)
Vernon Forrest vs Sergio Rios
Vincente Escobedo vs TBA.

That would be a cracking night of boxing and one I would pay to watch complete.

I'd pay for it, now all i need is a Sky satalite system.

The germans do put on good cards, even if the headliner isn't that hot the undercard usually is quality, much better than the usual ones over here.

I think Koc was the guy who got thunderously sparked by the big Cuban when Audley won his gold medal. I'd pay to see that again!

Isn't Morel about to do a stint inside?

I'd buy Hopkins - Taylor if the money went somewhere apart from Murdoch...

Abraham - Eastman could be a good, good fight. Haussler - Sanavia looks quite tasty, agreed.

If I never see Brian Magee again it'll be too soon. I don't know how he managed to stop so many people, but he's really not very good to watch.

Hakkar's not exactly going to tease the cash from my pocket. But then my dad tells me I have Scottish blood somewhere in my family anyway.

The German card can also be picked up in the UK - free to air, on digital or analogue ARD 1. :TU:

http://www.lyngsat.com/astra19.html
Its ARD (Sauerland), MDR (Sauerland undercards on sunday mornings), ZDF (Universum) and DSF (Steinforth) that shows free boxing.

you need a bigger dish than the standard Sky one - 60cm I think. And point it at Hotbird satellite, which is just next to Astra.

100's of free channels on there, including the two good German ones - ARD and ZDF.

Oh now that's just filthy. I meant Koc is exciting because of his commitment to parish activities (honest guv)

I'd pay to see most of it apart from the lovely Debbie Mageeeeeeeeeeee. They really did a good marketing job on him he's turned out worse than shite!

No doubts he'll get his crack at Calzaghe if he LOSES the euro shot.

I'm not sucking, Koc is a presonality of cult proportions in these parts, although as his record suggests he's a little wet behind the ears.
Now I ask you, what's so wrong with being excited about a big wet cult like Koc?
