I am a family historian and we have recently discovered a family link to a Cuban Boxer named Joey Coego who fought from 1931-1939. He won and lost the Cuban Lightweight title on several occasions between 1934 and 1939. I have found his record.
I am looking for more information on this figther. Birthdate, place of birth, parents, addresses and in particular magazine Articles or a photo of this fighter in action. A reference as to where I could locate a possible newspaper sports story for that time period would also be apprecited.
