Yes, it's fun to debate who would win between an old timer and a current p4p guy... but let's not even consider their greatness by that. They're completely different era's, rules, and we've evolved since then.
Like saying Jack Johnson isn't a great because he'd be too small to beat most current heavyweights, and the usual heavyweight debates.

i agree, especially with the heavyweight division, there is just so many things to consider. thats why debates over heavyweights are so...intense i suppose one could say. whereas with comparing guys like monzon to hagler is a bit easier, guys in restriced weight classes are fighting pretty much the same guys just different names and faces for each new era, and thats why its quicker to find a definative better fighter
