On 5/4/1954 the great Sugar Ray Robinson outpointed the skillfull but much less experienced Holley Mims. Robinson was the first fighter to drop Mims as a professional. However Mims fought back hard and gave Robinson a very tough fights.
I've heard some say that Robinson was lucky to get the decision?
I've also heard some say that Robinson was non-too keen on fighting the tricky Mims.
Anyone got any opinions?
