Would someone please try to confirm - preferably through an Oakland or San Franciscan newspaper - whether the scheduled bout between Lomski and Joe Roche actually occurred on Jan. 29, 1926 in SF?
With the help of Mike DeLisa, I entered many of Lomski's bouts, including the one in question. I was going thru microfilm of a western Washington state newspaper the other day and saw a Jan. 25 article saying that these two were indeed scheduled to meet on the 29th. But there was no follow-up report of the results, which is odd for this paper. However, this paper DID report a Lomski W-10 Roche @ Oakland for Wednesday, Feb. 10, 1926. This is a bout NOT recorded by Mike or BoxRec. Is this a brand-new, previously unrecorded bout, or was their scheduled Jan. 29 bout postponed to this Feb. date?

Found what was reported as a Leo Lomski 4-round bout Aug. 20, 1928 in New York, but the result & opponent wasn't given. The opponent's hometown of Newark, NJ, was given. It appears that this article had one line accidently deleted from the actual printing. Is this an error? Could someone check THE NEW YORK TIMES to see if such a bout occurred?
