Has this dream match been mentioned in other topics?
If not, any thoughts?
I think it would have been interesting. My pick is Spinks by late round KO.
Michael Spinks vs Roy Jones jr (at Lt. Heavyweight)
I have to say that in my opinion Spinks doesn't get his due. He came out on top of the Light heavyweight division when it was loaded with talent. He was the first LH champ to win the HW title (at a time when the jump in weight was huge) and was troublesome for so many fighters.
People seem to recall the Tyson fight but Spinks was never going to win that one.
I think Spinks would Knock RJJ cold.

This is like my 5th time posting this, but I think Roy Jones gets KO'd too.Ezzard wrote:I have to say that in my opinion Spinks doesn't get his due. RJJ wasn't the only one with an unorthodox style! Spinks and his odd here and there movements would take the play away from RJJ, who might not realize it at first. He may be tempted to drop his hands or to leap in or if he already knew, just to stand there. In any event about the 3rd 4th or 5th Spinks would put the right hand on RJJ's jaw and that would end the fight.
