Incorrect Ending to Wilson-McCarthy Fight

I recently watched a fight clip that shows Tony Wilson winning by disqualification against Steve McCarthy (Sept. 21, 1989). Your records indicated that Wilson won by TKO? Also, as a wierd side-note, Wilson's mom entered the ring and began beating McCarthy with her shoe. McCarthy was then disqualified for leaving the ring, even though he was completely winning the fight and had Wilson's mother swinging her shoe at him. WIERD!!!

When McCarthy refused to re-enter the ring, the referee ruled that he had in fact retired and thus awarded Wilson the TKO victory. I have not seen it reported anywhere that McCarthy was DQ'd. Wilson was kicked and beaten by upset members of the crowd on his way back to the dressing room.
