i was gonna include this one on the other post, but i wanted a new slate, and i wanna see people answer this question instead of the other ones on that thread... anyway last time i got alot of vitalis too big and blah blah blah...sooo

Hasim Rachman- 6"2 225
James J Braddock-6"2 194

still a difference, but braddock often fought underweight as ill mention again, and hasim is the same height.... what do you guys think of this fight?.. if u know how much i hate todays heavys and love the old guys, u know i had braddock before i picked out hasim..... ill take braddock via KO in 11 rounds..probly less.

Well, Braddock didn't have enough power to stop Rahman. Rahman did have a lot more ability and on paper should win fairly easily. However, if Rahman is lethargic (which he is in about 50 % of of his fights) I could see Braddock outhustling him and winning a decision.

You love James J dontcha? I don't blame you he is as inspirational a story as you will ever find in this game. I think if he studied Hasim he would find a way to win. But part of his formula was that he was hungry. So I will add to that it would have to be the same night he beat Max Baer.

In other words they announce a last minute replacement for Baer who has decided to retire and winner of this fight will become the undisputed HW champ. With all that on the line on that same evening your man walks away with his destined win.

sure do... i try to keep his name around here single handedly so it probly comes off as annoying but if i didnt do it noone would...i think u have a pretty good idea boxbuzz, but i think that he could have handled rahman any time in his heavyweight career from the JH Lewis fight to the Tommy Farr fight... he fought much harder punchers, and rahman doesnt punch anywhere near baer and louis type. he was one of the first heavyweights to study his opponent completley and figure out a way to win this fight...i think that any time from 1934-1937, when braddock was a heavyweight because he was for the most part a light heavy, but i think he would have found a way to beat rahman..i dont have much faith in todays boxers as it is.
