thought i would say hello.
im new to this site, i posted on ESB as rhino for a long time, then DHB as rhino where i still post. posted briefly on b0xingtalk.net but my opinions were not welcome by the junta/mafia on there.

im here to debate boxing, i dont suffer fools, i dont always agree with people either.

i have my favourite fighters and promoters of course..

but..

cos i receive no remuneration from any parties i am not scared to call a spade a spade....just as it should be.

i think tonights undercard in sheffield is awful although the main event is a good 50/50 shout.

i think tomorrows cardiff card has a decent undercard but the main event stinks.....

just my opinions.

As for your views on tonight's undercard, that seems fair enough - but it doesn't seem that much worse than tomorrow's.

Swaby-Rasani tonight is not one for the purists but should be an interesting scrap. If it's still on.

Howdy Rhino, I've been a largely silent observer of Doghouse over the past few months and have read some hilarious threads over there. I see now that certain higher profile members have packed up and moved to BoxingTalk, what was the cause of all that?

well, spud did his usual and retired from the site once more, him and lightsoot moved to another forum where they upset all the locals with the usual power pissed takeover. the locals have ceased to post so its all quiet there, despite the juntas efforts to recruit personnel via phone.

ive just been unceremoniouslly (sp?) banned from there for questioning the motives of the moderators.

Blimey Rhino you and Spud must have really fallen out, I thought you were good friends away from these sites.

We did have some laughs back in the ESB days but Spud just got too much, you couldn't get away with saying anything that he didn't like. I suppose that's why I'm such a slack moderator on here (a role awarded to me with no prior consultation I might add), nobody gets their post deleted unless it's blatantly offensive. And there aren't too many of those.

No, and us mods cannot ban posters. The owner is the only one with that facility. I'm sure we can advice (I have never on anybody) but the ultimate decision lies with the owner.

Seriously, you didn't get asked for the role, Kilburn? You were the second mod here if I remember. Did you just find your name under the mods section and in green? I was involved in the big vote off for the fifth mod posistion - there was no time limit when the voting was coming to end so I got the shock to see my name on the opening page.

Do any of us do anything? I can count the threads I have deleted on one hand.

Anyway, welcome Rhino. The forum is not everyones cup of tea (some people find it boring) but its very relaxed here.

I honestly can't remember what I posted as on there, but I remember a lot of the old posters like Diggo, Sugars, Marlon, syko Ian Hedges, simpsons, Farnell and Alexander, Caesar. I really liked that forum ..... but it turned to shit when Spud arrived (sorry if you are still friends).
