"REAL BOXING"
"REAL BOXING"
Did anyone see this show last night. It was on at around 01:30 - 02:00 on some channel or other, possibly discovery health. It was the story of two young british amateur training camps and their up coming tournament with errr... too drunk to remember France i think.... anyhows, a young kevin mitchell was in the squad, only around 15, very quiet lad believe it or not, quietest and best spoken out of the bunch. He lost if memory serves me right.
The point of the post, did anyone see the show and how are the other fighters getting on now. One of the outstanding fighters was a young scouser called quigley, trained by his father.

I've seen the series before, I think it was shown about 18 months ago on Bravo. I think there was one about Mighty Joe Young on the other night.
I remember the one with Mitchell in, he'd been brought in at late notice for that bout, if I remember rightly. I also seem to recall he wasn't too happy with the way the Amateurs were being run.

I assume Tony Quigley, who has moved up in the weights in the pros.Wales wrote:Did anyone see this show last night.
