Impromptu Boxrec/Footy meet?

I'm coming down to 'the big smoke' for a meeting tomorrow evening (Weds).

I'll be around Piccadilly (the meeting should finish around 8pm) and will be looking for somewhere to watch England's latest 'performance'.

Rather than getting the train I'm staying over in Piccadilly as I have another feckin meeting the following day...so a few pints are in order.

If anyone fancies a few jars, let me know.

YUes it was 11.30 am when you scuttled off to bed mate.

Bout 6 when you got up and nearly 8 when you left.

sqaush hurt today.

Ian if you are bored its only 20 mions form Charing X to mine mate you are more than welcome to chill at mine if you are bored.

Cheers for this J. I won't be bored mate - I quite like 'schlepping' around new boozers, even solo style, and the footy will keep me occupied until 10ish. I'm staying in Piccadilly for convenience.

By the way, if anyone can recommend any decent boozers in Piccadilly Circus, let me know.

THERES A FEW, THE BEST CURRY HOUSE IN CENTRAL LONDON IS ON DENMAN STREET CALLED THE MAHORAJAH (BUBI WILL VOUCH FOR THIS)

IT LOOKS TACKY BUT THE FOOD IS fornicating ACE.

Smack behind pcc circus, theres a coupe of decent boozers there as well.

THe sports cafe is also not far on Haymarket pal or Tiger tiger if thats your thing. all in the picadilly area, if you are strugglging give me a bell, I have to be home as I say due to being on call but I can direct you if you need

Thanks for the link MW - that will take some getting through! I used to like Soho when I was about 18/19. OK, there were a few gay bars at that time but last time I spent much time there it seemed like 3/4 were looking for the pink pound (both noun and verb).
