Just perusing the Predictions League and it seems like a solid card in Germany this weekend in particular the two main fights. Tomasz Adamek is an interesting fighter at Light Heavyweight, i have not seen him fight myself but he outlasted the tough Aussie Paul Briggs and that takes some balls to trade with him for 12 rounds. He is unbeaten at 29-0 (20) but his record doesn't leave many clues about how good he can become, anyone know anymore about him?
I think he needs to stop Ulrich to win, i can't see him getting the decision. Ulrich's only loss so far came at the hands of Glenn Johnson via 6th round TKO, he has skills Ulrich but he scraped by Matthew Barney last time round and was losing versus Silvio Branco before pulling out a knockout. I expect Adamek to stop him around 11.
And Gomez and McCall also fight on this card, McCall is a cert to do the distance and i think Gomez will keep it at range and use his jab to pick up a good points lead, i think McCall will have his moments and it is good he is keeping relatively active but i don't think he will win this match which i think is an eliminator for something or other.
Any thoughts?
This Weekend's German Fights
I'll be watching this fight live on tv. I agree with you in that Adamek has to stop him to win, if it goes the distance, win or loose, Ulrich is getting his hand raised!!!
I have only seen small clips of Adamek, he seemed to have a bit of snap about him. He looked to have a good reach and carry good power, he also looked like quite a tough fella. I have only seen very small clips though, i'd be interested to hear others opinions on Adamek, and Saturday nights fight in Germany.

Good win by Adamek over the favored Briggs last time out, on neutral territory I'd pick him to win. But in Germany, think I'll go for an inspired Ulrich to grab a points win.
Briggs is on the undercard I see - good tactics by the Germans, as long as their man wins that is....
Gomez on points too - bad match style wise for McCall, you'd think. Wonder if The Don will be cheering ringside? He's running out of heavyweights these days...
