You have his nationality as British, but he is an Irish citizen.

Should his nationality not be changed to Irish?

No, he comes from Londonderry which is in N. Ireland and part of the UK, therefore he is British.

John like all citizens of Northern Ireland has the option of either an Irish or British passport . He holds an Irish passport and is very proud of being Irish .

Michael Gomez was born in Ireland (longford btw , not Dublin as is said on his record) but is listed as British .

Being born in Northern Ireland does not automatically make someone British but I underatand this is a very hard thing to have correct on fighters records as you would have to ask quite a few of their nationality .
