I looked at his record and under the first fight with Rocchigiani I saw remark: "Controversial Disqualification".
Well, if I remember well, the verdict promarily was technical draw - and it was very controversial, since it seemed that after unimportant low blow Michalczewski pretended to be unable to continue fight (which he was losing).
But after the fight Rocchigiani failed anti-drug test and thus was disqualified. Just as it should be - nothing controversial for me.
Small inaccuracy in Michalczewski record
This points out the problems of "commentary" in a factual data base.
What's controversial to one person is stone correct to another. For this database, I usually leave out my commnects -- though I think it is cool to quote from newspapers.
On the CBZ, of course, things are differerent and we have tons of commentary.

I recall reading the fight report from International Boxing Digest/Boxing Illustrated. The writer seemed to think that it was a gift for DM. Rocchigiani hit DM during a break (I think) and knocked him out. The original decision was a technical draw, which was later changed to a technical win for DM. It's a blemish on his otherwise perfect record.
