Tuffy Griffith's record is believed to be complete, but in the Everlast 1931 Record Book it has a bout with Al Freidman on the 07/03/30 a pts win for Griffith's, but only has one fight in 1929 where as we have two for Freidman/Griffith, can someone please double check, thanks

I have Heeney-Griffith at Long Isalnd City on that date, not Friedman.

I wonder who says that record is complete -- I have been researching Griffith for some time and it is way incomplete -- recall he was either 55-0 or 56-o when he fought Braddock -- the record here then is missing at least 20 fights. Many early dates are missing form this record, though we are starting to fill those in.

I also have questions on some of the results and locales.

Sorry that date was my English!!!

It has 7th March 1930 in the Everlast 1931.

It has 69 fights for Griffith up to 1930.

I have inserted a number of his bouts of 1928, and early of 1929 -- all taken from contemporary newspaper accounts/articles (CNAs :razz:). I gave my 1924-1929 newspaper sources to Mike DeLisa, but I still have many 1929 bouts remaining to enter. However, I was NOT the one who clicked the "Complete" button. ric
