I'm a big fan of Sibson: I remember him as a powerful and exciting fighter and good puncher. However, I favour Michael Watson in this match up. Like in his great fight with Nigel Benn, Watson could box and soak up a lot of Sibson's aggression before getting on top. Watson on points?

I'd agree. Watson by close decision. But he would have to be at the top of his game.

Interesting, but one thing I am pondering over is at Middleweight did Watson beat anyone on the same level as a peak Sibbo? There was Benn but The Dark Destroyer was still very green at that point and fought with a poor gameplan, (not taking anything away from Watsons victory that night).
