Not a bad record, fought Robert Daniels for the world title and won a couple of rounds.
BUT....
He did this with one leg apparently.....
Amazing achievement, he lost his leg in an accident in 1984. He was undefeated at the time of his injury - and fought since way before the Warring fight (his first defeat) with one leg?
Anyone heard of this guy. What a story. How did he weigh in?

Stu, there is an excellent biography on Bodzianowski called "Tale of the Gator". It is one of the best boxing biogs I have read in recent times.
It is written by Mike Fitzgerald, the guy who I think wrote/co-wrote the Earnie Shavers and Ken Norton biographies.
From memory, his leg was amputated mid-way between the ankle and knee following a motorcycle accident.

I believe so.E wrote:I think he weighed in wearing his leg, right?knockout wrote:i always wondered what they did about the weigh in.....
did he make the 13stone 8 limit??? must have been pretty huge upper body wise
I think it was the Witherspoon fight where they started saying he weighed in a pound or two overweight. He offered to remove his prosthetic and that was the end of it.
