regarding the post below on harrison vs hussien

Post by boxerbob »

i thought harrison was bullying hussein until the 10th round , i always though that harrison is one paced but his jab was impressive last night and i agreed totally with the judges and i had it by 4 points but that was being generous to hussien. it wasnt an easy fight but harrison totally controlled it for 3 quarters of it.

I thought Scott won it by 116-113 though the knockdown helped him big style for me because I believed the Aussie was winning that round up to that point.
In the end Harrison's jab and body punching were at times excellent but he lacked head movement and was being caught too much by uppercuts.
The thing that disturbs me about Scott is that in every fight he is so damn right hand happy and gives his opponent little to think about. Last night his punch accuracy to the head was the worst it has ever been.
People are making out that Scott is some kind of bum now which he isn't. For me the weight has been killing him since the first Medina fight and he has relied on power to bale him out ever since. The performances against Chacon and McCullough seem a long time ago. Scott looked like he was going onto big things after those fights but he has never reproduced that form even remotely and has tried to become some kind of out and out puncher who walks through guys. I hope he moves up and proves the critics wrong. :TU:
