I am about to slightly alter the April 12, 1929 Kid Chocolate-Bushy Graham bout from a W-? (BoxRec did not record how long the bout lasted) to a WDQ-7 (15). This is according to a CNA -- oops! Mike made a good point that referring to a "contemporary newspaper account/article" is not precise enough in some circumstances. So, this is according to a next-day newspaper account (NDNA?), a day-after newspaper account (DANA?), the following day newspaper account (FDNA), whatever. (Wwhat do you guys prefer as an abbreviation. Suggestions? I get tired of typing out the whole phrase each time.)

Anyway, according to at least one newspaper account published the following day, this was the actual result. I am also about to add comments, based upon this article.

If anyone disagrees with what I've done to this bout, please speak up now or forever hold your peace.

The Cuban Boxing Commission was created around 1921; it created a system of "semi-professional" bouts tht definitely were NOT pro bouts -- the system allowed developing amateurs to appear on pro cards.

This system was eventually eliminated by the Cuban Boxing Commission.
