Just a tip for people that are stopping the night, if your gunna go out on the piss after the fight i'd try Rotherham instead of Sheffield, its only a 5 minutes taxi ride from the arena and all the bars are together, where as Sheffield all the bars are spread about thus alot of walking.
The main difference is that Rotherham has more late night bars, so if you dont fancy clubbing you can just stop in the bars, i find Sheffield to be the opposite, after 11pm the bars shut & you have to go to a club or go home
.
I've had many a drunken night in Rotherham
Either way i'm sure you'll have a gud un'

Not many by the sounds of things. I understand that tickets are moving slowly.Foggy wrote:Just wondering who is going to Sheffield to watch Hatton this weekend, i'll certainly be there.
I will be watching it from the sofa.

There are plenty of boozers in Sheffield, West Street has about ten from one end to the other and three of them - at least - are open past normal last orders.

Is it true only 6000 tickets sold in an arena that holds 14,000? Where's all the loyal 20,000 fans gone, who turned up for some real Hatton walkovers in the past? Less money, less fans - FW must be rubbing his hands in glee.

Well, travelling up from London is expensive and getting back impossible, thats the reason I'm not going.
I've been to two shows in Sheffield, and enjoyed them thoroughly, the Woods v Johnson II was a cracker, especially with the Thompson fight on the undercard, and Woods v Gonzales was pretty good too, but it's not exactly round the corner.
