Rd 8 just started 80-74 to Nelson on the unofficial Steve Collins scorecard.
Plenty of showboating by Nelson which is forcing Cantatore to rush in and get picked off.

Nelson is boxing well and winning the fight. Needs to close out the fight in style though.

I reckon Nelson needs to try and knock him down now or the judges are going to take this from him.

Nelson might be letting this one slip away a little bit.

Well Nelson managed to ride out the storm. I've never seen him hurt like that before, luckily he recovered very quickly.
I had it as a draw

Split decision...Latham 116-111 Nelson, Jacobsen 115-112 Cantatore (surprise
), Hazard Jnr 115-112 Nelson
Quality Steve Collins quote 'where did this German judge come from?'

Nelson won on majority. Who says you cannot win on points in Italy?
And it was fairly close.....

Jacobsen is the judge Sports Network have complained about in the past, I think it would have been in a Harrison or Calzaghe fight.

I'm sure there are some good German judges out there. Was it a Harrison fight? I can't remember.
