u have him at 15-0-1 entering the marciano bout.
i know it says record innacurate/incomplete, but is it possible ross was in fact 26-0 and his other fights have not been found yet?

After looking over his record I would say that it's a very good possibility that Ross' record was 26-0 going into the bout with Marciano and I would also say that it is pretty certain that several of his bouts are missing. In the bouts that are in the database it shows that Ross fought several times in a single month on a few different occasions...

4 times in November 1947
5 times in July 1948
4 times in August 1948
2 times in January 1949
With that kind of schedule of fighting, several bouts in one month, I would bet that if he wasn't 26-0, then he was pretty close!
