Former WBC Lightweight champion and one time P4P contender Stevie Johnston returned at the weekend continued his comeback on the weekend with a comprehensive points win over Vladimir Khodokovski. Not the best of opponents but apparently Johnston looked impressive on only losing a round and by most accounts he looked sharped, smooth and skilled.
That marks the return to the fold of two of my favourite boxers, both of whom have apparently looked good in new weights. Johnston is now campaigning at Light Welter (although will probably make Lightweight). The other great boxer who made a recent return was former Bantamweight king, Tim Austin, who is now going to campaign at Featherweight.
Both good be very useful additions.
