Commonwealth Games boxing hope Joe Blackbourn has taken out an amateur welterweight fight against Vanuatu opponent Mark Peter last night in Auckland.
Blackbourn knocked out Peter, who is a former Games medallist, in three rounds out of a possible four.
Meanwhile Daniel MacKinnon won the vacant New Zealand professional middleweight title over Fili Mailata, stopping him with a TKO in the 7th round of 12.
