Who would have won this battle. I give the edge to Gomez but I think it would have been a war.

A great match up but hard to go against Gomez at this weight. Still this would have been another great series. I'd pick Gomez to win 3 of 5.

This would be a great fight but I think Gomez's extra power and speed would prove decisive... Gomez by 10th round ko....

Gomez eats him and craps him out easily. Barrera is overrated. Did you see the Ring Magazine this month that has the audacity to question if Barrera is the better Mexican fighter compared to Julio Cesar Chavez? That is a joke.

At 122 if Jr. Jones right had (or was it McKinney's??) Either way...if their right hands could drop and beat Barrera.....Gomez would turn his lights out completely -
