cracking result for Haye

Post by wilse »

David Haye thrashed Gurov in the first but is it a good thing regards his development?, It's good that he has a 'proper title' and beat a very well respected opponent so quick, it sends out a clear message and he now has a good world ranking but personally I'd like to see Haye get rounds under his belt, but how does he do this I here you cry!, it's not like he's fighting bums is it!, here are some interesting stats

Debut 2002 rnds fought 2

2003 rnds fought (total) 14 from 7 fights an average of 2 rnds per fight

2004 rnds fought 10 from 4 fights an average of 2.25 rnds per fight

2005 rnds fought 9 from 5 fights an average of 1.8 rnds per fight

all together it makes for some impressive reading, and that Hayes total fight average/expectancy is a little over 2 rounds. It's probably best to get an early night , I bet all the top cruisers who just watched that are shitting it, fair one as David Haye is a force to be reckoned with and in reality can't be that far away from a world title shot :TU: :box:
