Tough one, Tiger was one of the toughest and strongest Middleweights in history but may have been a little past his prime at 175lbs, a weight Qawi was at his peak in. It was usually the slick Boxers that gave Tiger problems, but how would have coped with a fighter who was built simular to him and was a high octaine pressure fighter, just like himself?
Dick Tiger didn't have the power at LHW to keep a peak Qawi off for long. The Camden Buzzsaw would methodically wear him down with his vaunted body attack and probably score a TKO around the 8th round.
A prime Qwawi was very tough. He was indeed a pressure fighter and I think Tiger would of had problems with Qwawis jab. He outjabbed many of his opponents by moving in constantly with it while his chin was buiried behind his left shoulder. By doing this, he would counterpunch also with his jab by catching his opponents jabs and right hands on his shoulder and firing back with his jab or sometimes a lefthook. He would beat alot of taller fighters by doing this and I think he would be able to do it to a fighter roughly his size as well. Qwawi by decision
Great fight!.... tough one to call as Tiger was still very useful at 175 and is generally very underrated... I'd edge towards Quawi on decision but these two would probably split a couple of decisions between them, Tiger was probably the better all round boxer overall...
