Last time I was at Notts Arena I heard tell that one of the brothers was wanting to make a fresh start and was back in training - think it might have been Nicky rather than Jason but can't be sure.

It was the Sports Ed of the Nottingham Evening Post that was saying it but it was a bit hectic at the time and I missed who it was. With our current jail release policy, he should have been out a little while ago...I think.
Problem was when Nicky was last released he was under a curfew , so couldn't of been able to box on any evening shows, and he wasn't strong enough to avoid going back to old ways.
Nottingham is pretty rife with drugs, so hard to stay away from it

Think Jason was having some problems with drink, i did hear he had got over them, but i've not heard anything since.
Seems we've probably seen the last of them, as far as a boxing career goes.
i saw booth given a boxing lesson by steve molitor of canada at dagenham not so long ago - molitor was class watch, out for him in the next couple of years

Molitor is good but I think his lack of power and strength will see him fall short at the top level.
I have Molitor down as genuine world class. Not got much pop but fornicate me he can box and move. Superb to watch. Know he's had some family problems himself with his brother and has been a little inactive since the Booth fight. Could really do something with the right backing IMO.
isnt he great to watch, good balance, cool head, i'd agree with the slight lack of power. molitors big problem it seems is keeping a trainer for more than 5 minutes. i think he's been thru 4 since the booth fight.
he's my type of boxer though.

Extremely pedantic, but I was just looking at Molitor's record and he appears to have fought for the WBF title in 2002 then his next fight he fought for only the Intercontinental version. Ho hum. Told you it was exciting. http://www.boxrec.com/boxer_display.php?boxer_id=037759
