This is a pick em fight for me They both were absolutely tough, I lean to Quarry but I don't think anyones quitting, they both see the final bell and it's a close decision.

I'll Take my man James J Braddock by UD. quarry had good stamina and good heart which i think keeps him up the entire fight and leads to a UD. i think he can keep it relatively close i just think braddocks a better fighter and could slug it out with quarry if need be.

by the way. jimbraddock..i dont come to this board much now cause im very busy with baseball and basketball and whatnot but anyone here who remembers me will tell yah im the biggest jim braddock fan youll ever meet. LOVED the guy...nice to see im not alone anymore haha

As much as I like Braddock, as he had many great qualities and great record in his prime as a Light Heavyweight, and made an excellent come back as a Heavyweight.

BUT if u watch the real Braddock Baer fight, Baer was clowning more times than not---if Baer really came after Braddock it been over in the first.

Quarry was quite the puncher, could take a punch, and in my opinion, would have been a champion in any other era.

It would be a great fight, but I'd have to go with Quarry, cus the 70's division was much deeper in talent than Braddock's era---and Braddock was a better Light Heavyweight than he was a Heavyweight.

If a fighter like Quarry beat Baer nobody would have made a big deal about it. Why? Because Quarry was just a level below the all time greats and probably would have given any Heavyweight champ in history a run for their money.
Quarry by very easy UD or late TKO. They didnt call Braddock the Cinderella Man for nothing.

I would have to go with Quarry who stops Braddock late or wins a close decision.

Braddock liked big punchers. He would've cut Quarry up and stopped him inside 4 rounds.

Quarry was just as fast if not faster, a better counter puncher, much bigger puncher, stronger, just as durable.

Quarry beats Braddock on points, beating him up fairly well in the later rounds.
