Richard Hall's not on anymore. In steps Daniel Judah, whom Johnson controversially drew with in a fight that each man earned $5000. Feb 25, Seminole Hard Rock Arena, Fla.

he'll get paid more this time!

lst one was 'winner gets $10,000'. the draw was a real bad decision & Glen walked away disgusted with $5000. i'm not one of these ppl who believes that GJ got robbed evry time (imo Sheka beat him, Woods deserves the draw, Harmon outboxed him and so did Ottke). but that was a bad one.

i think Daniel Judah was recently beaten by Eric Harding (if i remmeber correctly). decent warmup for GJ, to set up a rubber match with Woods and - if all goes to plan - a light heavy champ vs cruiser champ match with O'Neil Bell.

could well be. but i hear GJ looked good vs Khalid Jones, so I can't write the 'Road Warrior' off.

Don't think woods has gotten any faster, it's more that his output has increased, though I still think that Johnson fights with more intensity and a better range of shots.

If they fight it will be another close one which could go either way.

I dont think Johnson will be competitive at 200lbs. We are talking 25lbs extra weight, and Bell must come in weighing well over 200 on fight night.

I read a Clinton Woods article recently & he was asked if he would move up to cruiserweight, Clinton simply answered NO just becuase of the weight advantage the guys would have over him

plus Johnson is a former middleweight who was dominated not only technically, but physically by a prime Hopkins.

Bell is a nasty fighter and he really smashed up the light heavy, Derrick Harmon. (interestingly, Harmon outboxed Johnson, beating him legitimately but that's a different kind of fight). O'Neil took everythhing from the very physically intimidating Mormeck, and didn't seem too concerned.

however, it's a nice attempt to tap into a Jamaican audience. if Johnson-Bell ever happens, it'd be in South Florida, which has the highest population of Jamaicans outside Jamaica itself. when you look at how past greats like Mike McCallum & Simon Brown were overlooked in the mainstream, wouldn't it be nice if GJ & Bell got their big paychecks together?

Johnson must have a death wish. He's a natural super middleweight, he'd be giving away height, reach, loads of weight and a huge deficit in punchpower against Bell, who has a heavyweight's pop.

A trip to A+E awaits johnson if he gets his wish.

you won't believe this, but i also read a news piece where Johnson said he wants to go up to heavyweight as well. i don't take that seriously, but if things go as planned the Johnson-Bell seems more realistic given their promoters

He looked very good vs Jones. Took him a little longer than expected to win, but he got him.

Very classy gesture at the end, he had George pinned against the ropes and he was defenseless, he basically pulled some punches and called the ref over to get in the way. Jones was dead in the water, Johnson knew it, and didn't want a repeat of the Jones/Scottland fight. The ref was really slow getting over to them. Probably 9 or 10 unanswered, defenseless punches.

Johnson is a top ten-15 P4P fighter, so you cant write him off...but I would bet on Bell for sure.

Does anyone know what's going on with this fight?

I'm only going by the boxrec scheduled, but they had Hall as the opponent, then they changed it to Judah around the time this thread came up, but now It's back as being Johnson-Hall.

Anyone know WTF is going on? The fight is scheduled for a fortnight's time
